The "Audit and Assurance" course within the CIPA (Certified International Professional Accountant) program is a discipline that is part of a multi-level international certification program for accountants and financial professionals. Course Description: • Part of a program based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA). The program complies with the requirements of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Global Curriculum for Professional Accountants. • Includes two levels: o Audit and Assurance 1 – Fundamentals of auditing and assurance engagements (based on IAS – International Standards on Auditing). o Audit and Assurance 2 – Application of international standards to external audits, review and assurance engagements, related services, and quality control. • The objective of the course is to enable the auditor to express an opinion on the reliability and objectivity of information in financial statements. • As part of their training, candidates learn to plan, organize, and conduct audits of companies, study corporate control and accounting systems, and become familiar with the Code of Ethics of the International Federation of Accountants. Some additional information: • To obtain a CIPA certificate, candidates must successfully pass exams in the relevant disciplines and meet requirements for work experience, education, and membership in a professional organization. The CIPA program is designed for professionals working or planning to work with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
